Two men sent to prison for GBH which left victim with dripping blood and ‘enormous’ swelling for ‘no reason’

Two men have been sentenced to 30 and 20 months respectively after pleading guilty to grievous bodily harm (GBH), which left a man with a dripping blood, “enormous” swelling and bruising earlier this year. Sean Patrick Conybeare, aged 36, of no fixed abode, and Nathan Lucas, aged 33, of no fixed abode, were charged with Section 18 GBH - wounding with intent back in May. This was later changed to a Section 20 GBH offence.

One 21-year-old man pleads not guilty to murder of Tommy Boom with trial set to take place in early 2025

One 21-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Tommy Boom, with his co-defendant set to enter his plea at a later date ahead of the trial in early 2025. Daniel Larman and Kieran Okocha-Sleight, both aged 21 and of no fixed address, were charged with Tommy’s murder on the evening of Monday, July 22.

Fiona Beal: Police describe ‘cold-blooded’ murder after primary teacher sent down for life

Fiona Beal’s murder of her partner Nicholas Billingham has been described as “cold-blooded” by police after the former Northampton primary school teacher was sent down for life today (Thursday). Beal begins her life sentence of a minimum of 20 years, less the time she has spent in remand, after admitting she murdered her partner and buried him in the garden of their Kingsley home.
